Patrick provides executive leadership on strategy, analytics, and change management through consulting, facilitation, and research. He successfully leads teams to develop strategic plans, analytics programs, and guide change management on large-scale transformations. Patrick designs and executes institutions that are built to last with 18 years of consulting experience including more than a decade with consulting-leader Booz Allen Hamilton. He is a leader in the global change management community. Patrick brings global best practices to each engagement as a Certified Change Management ProfessionalTM, a Prosci Certified Practitioner, and a Project Management Professional. He also teaches change, leadership, and team development at George Mason and Georgetown Universities, and serves on the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) Global Board. Patrick completed his Ph.D. in Public Policy from George Mason University, earned a Master of Public Policy from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, and he holds a BA in Foreign Affairs and History from the University of Virginia.
Wes knows data. He is a senior data management and analytics executive with 20 years of experience in the full lifecycle of data. Wes brings expertise in master data management, business intelligence, data warehousing, analytics, CRM, data integration, data quality, quoting and ordering platforms, and user experience and mobile solutions. He has a proven track record and passion for setting up high-performance teams and implementing world-class information management platforms through his ability to effectively communicate key strategies, gain stakeholder alignment, and drive user adoption in support of key technology and organizational goals. Wes has extensive experience leveraging relationships to drive value in organizations and is a recognized industry international speaker. Wes has directed IT organizations of 200+ resources and directed multiple global, large scale, multi-year programs of 20M+ and managed global organizations across continents.
Jay knows business. He sits at the intersection of business and entertainment bringing more than 15 years of successful business leadership to Simatree. Jay is the host of ESPN’s The Boardroom and is a NBA analyst for ESPN. Additionally, Jay is a New York Times bestselling author and an established premier keynote motivational speaker for executive business conferences and charitable organizations nationwide. Jay is one of the most prolific college basketball players in history and was the second overall pick in the 2002 NBA draft. A devastating motorcycle accident seemingly derailed his promising NBA career. What should've been a setback turned into a 'set up' because of Jay’s right perspective. Jay looks at life through the lens of "why not?" rather than "why?" His strong work ethic, positive attitude, commitment to excellence, determinedness, and unrelenting perseverance make Jay an uncommon leader at Simatree and in the business arena. Jay graduated from Duke University in 2002 and was the first athlete at the university to earn his degree in just three years.
Elizabeth is an experienced management consultant who has focused her career on leading organizational transformations for clients across the public sector. Elizabeth is a trusted resource to clients in both the public and private sectors who are ready to move from piecemeal transformation success to enterprise-wide operational excellence. She leverages professional certifications in project management and change management, along with her skills in stakeholder management, process improvement, and leadership development, to develop and implement tailored approaches that best fit organizational needs. Elizabeth brings a strong passion for creating public value and data-driven decision-making to her work. Elizabeth is well versed in strategic planning through execution in delivery and has served in both senior advisor and leadership positions, having served as a Chief of Staff to a Fortune 500 company executive and having managed the financial, contracting, and staffing responsibilities of a 50-person delivery team. Elizabeth graduated from Boston University with Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and holds a Master of Public Policy from American University.
Scott is a transformational leader who drives organizational change across all levels of government and the private sector as both a government official and consultant. Scott brings over 25 years of experience creating solutions for complex problems and 14 years navigating change within the immigration enforcement environment. While at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) he led large scale organizational transformation projects, including data-driven management solutions for the White House and senior decision makers. Scott led teams that built cutting edge information technology tools and systems. As a skilled communicator and member of the ICE speaker's bureau, Scott conveys complex information about technology-driven programs to Congress, Government leadership, Public stakeholders, and corporate leaders. Scott graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Communications.
Steve is a senior analytics leader with over ten years of experience providing hands-on data science and machine learning solutions for his clients. He knows there is no one-size fits all framework and understands the need to tailor each approach to utilize the right algorithms and analytical principles to unlock trends, patterns, and insights from raw data. Steve leads cross-functional teams that create innovative statistical models, devising and utilizing a mix of tools and platforms to inform critical business decisions. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Criminal Justice and holds a Master of Science from Texas A&M University in Analytics. He has also earned a data science specialization certification and is a Project Management Professional.
Jamie is a seasoned professional who has over 25 years of experience in the Insurance Industry enhancing the technology experience and leading people. His roles have been at the intersection of Business and Technology Strategy, Operational Improvement and Technology Implementation. Recently, Jamie has worked as a consultant in program management and as the VP of Innovation and Technology at Inspirien where he led the technology department in supporting hardware and software innovation, operational readiness, security and a variety of significant enterprise-wide programs that involve staff, vendors and contractors across multiple time zones. Prior to Inspirien Jamie was a leader at ProAssurance and Protective in the EPMO where he led engagements that touched many different areas of the business including Accounting, HR, Underwriting Operations, Claims Operations and IT. Jamie started his career at MetLife, where he spent 18 years leading application development to replace and upgrade systems in Real Estate Investments.
Mellissa is a highly adaptable, passionate executor of strategic vision. With a bias for action, Mellissa is highly effective at collaborating with teams at multiple levels. Throughout her career, Mellissa has led human capital initiatives that have successfully addressed and solved challenging business problems. Mellissa holds a bachelors in Psychology from California State University and is a Professional in Human Resources (PHR).
Director of Technology and Architecture
Juan is a senior cloud data engineer and full stack application developer with expertise in multiple database technologies, design methodologies, and development technologies. His extensive experience in design and development spans across large scale 100+ Terabyte data warehouses for Fortune 15 and application implementation expertise for mission-critical systems. When you have the hardest problems to solve or your system fails and nobody else knows what to do, that's when you call Juan. His relentless pursuit of understanding and resolving, coupled with his architecture expertise results in the best solution design and problem-solving in that space...often being called by CIOs to resolve what other companies and organizations can't solve. Recently Juan completed his certification in Azure Data Engineering. He has previous certifications for Teradata Certified Professional, Oracle DBA Certified Professional, Sun Certified Java Programmer. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with Bachelor of Business Administration with Major in Accounting.
Change Management Associate
Victoria is passionate about helping people embrace change. With three years of experience in management consulting, Victoria specializes in partnering with public sector clients to develop communications and change management strategies in support of large-scale organizational transformations. Her work has helped multiple government agencies and nonprofit corporations transform to meet the changing demands of a data-driven world. Victoria’s people-first approach to transformation ensures that everyone from executives to front-line employees are engaged and consulted throughout the change process. Victoria graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Consulting and Political Science and was awarded the Eugene D. Fanning Award for Business Communication. She now serves on the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business Management and Organization Department Advisory Board.
Enrique goes above and beyond to deliver exceptional customer experience. He has over ten years of experience working with clients across multiple sectors, leading cross-functional projects to help increase profitability, improve quality, and increase efficiencies. Enrique’s strong analytical skills and interpersonal skills make him a highly effective analyst, translating between technical data scientists and business clients. He has created and led business development initiatives for multiple publicly traded companies, using a data-driven decision making approach to solving an organization's challenges. Enrique is skilled across a variety of programming languages and business intelligence tools, including Salesforce and Oracle CRM, MicroStrategy and SQL. Enrique earned a BS in Finance from Montclair State University and holds multiple certifications in sales and customer experience.
Kevin is a data scientist with a passion for using data analytics to solve complex business problems. He has four years of experience as a consultant for various government clients. Kevin recently graduated with a master’s degree in Data Analytics Engineering from George Mason University where he focused on statistical analysis and predictive analytics. He is skilled in a variety of programs including Python, R, SQL, Mongo DB, and SAS to name a few. He received his undergraduate degree from the Mcintire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
Kit is a data scientist with over four years of experience in data management and analysis. With a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Hampden-Sydney College and a Master of Science in Data Science & Analytics from Georgetown University, Kit has a strong academic background with a passion to help clients succeed in optimizing their business processes with actionable insights. He has been a key member of cross-functional projects that have utilized a variety of programming languages and data visualization platforms, including R, Python, SQL, and Tableau. Kit is driven to use his data science skills to assist clients in making clearer decisions for the future based on various statistical methods in order to drive productivity and manage key resources across all aspects of their business.
Jeneva is a consultant with a background in cost estimation and program analytics. She is excited to transition into the data science arena focusing on statistical modeling, machine learning, and more. She plans to use her analytical skills to work with the team on developing data-driven solutions. After graduating from the University of Maryland - College Park with a Bachelor of Science in Information Science in 2020, Jeneva enrolled in graduate studies at the University of Maryland - Baltimore County where she intends to obtain her master's degree in Data Science in 2023.
Shea is passionate about guiding large-scale projects from concept to completion. She has the attention to detail needed to catch issues and course-correct to meet the long-term goals of her client. By taking a data-driven approach, Shea aims to increase productivity and efficiency of each project. She recently graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Shea’s concentration in Business Analytics provided her with skills in programming languages R, and SQL, as well as the data visualization platform Microsoft Power BI.
Program Management Analyst
Tevon brings three years of cross-functional experience to Simatree. In his previous role, Tevon focused on increasing his skills in leadership, analytical analysis, communication, project, and data management. His passion involves solving complex problems and generating ideas to help businesses be proactive in maintaining a better approach towards their change management.
